原本是想打發時間來看一下《魔髮精靈》(Trolls) 這部動畫，結果不知道是那陣子心情比較低落還是怎樣，聽到這首歌的時候居然哭了。其實之前就有聽過，但沒想到動畫的片段這麼感人。然後其實動畫意外的好看耶，我不知道為什麼之前對它有點排斥，一直不想看，結果裡面很多歌都很好聽，翻唱的非常棒。

許多歌手翻唱過這首歌 (像是 Phil Collins 和 Kasey Chambers)，我自己最喜歡原唱 Cyndi Lauper 的版本，獨特、抒情中帶穿透力，這首歌收錄於她的同名專輯 True Colors (1986)，她個人對這首歌有很深的感觸，因為她的同志友人那時因愛滋病離世，而後來這首歌也成為同志族群中具代表性的歌曲🌈
